Hell, so much for a Spanish team even in the Champions League final! Looking like we’ll be having Die Classic this year. Last night Bayern Munich ran over Barcelona and tonight
Borussia Dortmund Robert Lewandowski just proved that German football is at the pinnacle of all European competition. I mean these past two days have been an absolute clinic in football. Barring and absolute miracle, it looks like we’ve got what we’ve been waiting for in the Champions League final. Merkel Bowl 2013!!!
We’ve been singing the praises of German football for some weeks now and this has just proven what we’ve been assuming for a while. We prayed for no El Clasico # 4,738 and our wishes came true. I think this is the best of the best in Euro footy this year and I’m excited to see the teams clash at Wembley in a few weeks. It’s like the Blietzkrieg all over again!
Lewandowski vs Muller. Gotze vs his future employers. The majority of the German national team compromised of what are mostly not German nationals. The story lines are ripe for the picking, and once the formality of both second leg games are completed we can look forward to Wembley 2013!
Who ya got?
