Champions League “Draw” is a Crock of Shit

So who didn’t see this coming?  Oh the Champions League Draw is today you say?  Oh it’s Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern, and Dortmund?  Two Bundesliga squads and two La Liga squads?  Great, that’s perfect for setting up the best of Germany versus the best of Spain!

But wait, let’s take a look at this from UEFA’s point of view.  What’s the “greatest” rivalry in world football these days?  What generates the most attention when domestic clubs face each other in competition?  WHAT WILL BRING US THE MOST MONEY? Why it’s El Clasico of course!  So let’s rig the “draw” so that it gives Barca and Real the best chance of facing each other!  Great, El Clasico #309 of the season!

I mean come on, wouldn’t everyone rather see Bayern/Dortmund vs Mardid/Barca??  Get the best of Bundesliga against the best of La Liga.  Barca and Madrid are both great teams and deserve to be where they are (he said with ultimate bitterness), but jesus-tap-dancing-christ Michel Platini.  This draw has to have been rigged to give these Spanish giants the best chance to face each other so those dicks can fill their pockets even more.  I’m getting real sick of everyone riding La Liga’s dick lately.  It’s a shit league with two teams in it.  They’re corrupt, the only teams that make any type of money are Madrid and Barca and they are ALWAYS the top two teams at the end of the season.  It’s boring and we’ve had enough of El Clasico.  And if you’re not from Spain don’t even tell me you want to see this matchup again.

So here’s to hoping for an all Bundesliga Champions League final, or at least a Spain v Germany final.  Just anything but El Clasico #5,697.
