BBC Comedian Trolls Man City

Simon Brodkin apparently is a British comedian known for characters such as “Lee Nelson” and football superstar “Jason Bent”.  Last month Brodkin pulled off a pretty great stunt at Goodison Park, where City were travelling to take on Everton in Premier League.

Brodkin dressed up in a full City away kit and took to the field for the team’s pre-match warmups.  He was eventually escorted off the field by security and arrested on site and charged with a crime that comes under the Football Offences Act.  Not really a big deal and small slap on the wrist, and most City players seemed to get a kick out of it.  You can see the event in pictures here.

What was probably the best part of this whole stunt, however, was the press conference after his court hearing today.  This is where “Jason Bent” really shines, showing up with his WAG on his side and dressed as a proper footballer.  He gives thanks to Carlos Tevez for giving him a ride to court, and his WAG for being by his side since last night.

The presser can be seen below.
