Ferdinand Pulls Out….

….of England squad.

Well this kind of has been coming for a few days now, but Rio Ferdinand has officially withdrawn his name from the team sheet for England’s upcoming World Cup qualifiers.  Woy Hodgson selected Rio, somewhat controversially, the other day for the first time in his brief stint as the England manager.  Rio’s club manager, Sir Alex Ferguson, was none too happy about the decision as Rio is apparently on a very strict training regiment, ’cause he’s like 49 years old.

So Rio is out, Steven Caulker is in.  Man City still doesn’t have any England internationals (well, almost none).
